As we enter October, let’s have a little catch-up on what's going on...

New Artist Membership

We're pleased to introduce a new membership exclusive to artists and crafters! We have created separate workspaces on the craft desk for fully customisable resident desks with the exclusivity of a larger studio but priced for the individual. There are currently 3 spaces available so if you know of anyone who may be interested or simply want to find out more about this new product, just ask us!

Meeting Room + The Mezzanine Den

As you know, we’ve been battling the infamous curse of Meeting Room: 02. After many trials and tribulations, I’m pleased to announce that plastering is near completion so we’re expecting full completion within 2 weeks! We also expect to finish the mezzanine Den next week – this space will be complete with futons, a projector, and game consoles ready for some more chill gatherings.

Visitor Policy

On the topic of gatherings and visitations, we’re currently developing a visitor policy. This will outline the procedure for bringing visitors into the Space. We expect to publish this, this month. Please understand that any visitor intending to work from the Space must purchase a day pass unless they are attending a meeting with you in a booked room under your account.

CCTV + Privacy Policies

Policies are terrifyingly corporate, but it is spooky season and they’re also scarily important, so please ensure you’ve reviewed our two new GDPR policies on CCTV and data privacy. Both these articles are available on the member’s portal. The Space Manager is also the Data Protection Officer, so if you have any concerns regarding the GDPR policies, please send them in writing to jamie@arc-space.co.uk.

Pool Table + Darts Board

Boring chat over, we have a pool table and dart board now. I’m sure you’ve all seen the beast by the kitchen, but for those unaware, the meeting table in the Presentation Space is, in fact, a pool table with a table tennis function! If anyone wants to use the pool table or darts board, please help yourselves; all we ask is that you put everything back when you’re done and only use table tennis outside of office hours (it’s a little annoying). When using the darts board, you must inform the studio adjacent to the firing line.

Halloween Party

Finally, the end-of-month social on the 27^TH shall be a Halloween special! You’re encouraged to dress up, we will decorate the studio and maybe get a cheeky pumpkin carving competition underway - the best costume will also get a prize. Details are yet to be confirmed, so keep an eye out on the Member’s Portal for updates.
